Are you a recent veteran thinking of becoming a commercial driver?
In Washington State, you can waive the Commercial Driver License (CDL) skills test if you were employed within the last 90 days in a military position requiring the operation of a military motor vehicle equivalent to a Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV).
This waiver allows a qualified service member to apply for a CDL without skills testing. CDL knowledge (written) test(s) cannot be waived.
There is, of course, paperwork to fill out. Why not start now?
Thanks for taking the time to share this informative news with us. This sounds so great for veterans who are looking for work. Have a great rest of your day and keep up the posts.
